Munnade Social Organization continues to enhance the effectiveness of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) through technical assistance. These SHGs are successfully conducting savings and thrift activities. Each group comprises approximately 15 to 20 members, with 35 functioning SHGs presently. Munnade assists the members in managing the groups and their financial accounts. The groups have utilised their savings to address various needs, including children’s education, healthcare expenses, house leasing, repayment of high-interest loans, and the release of mortgaged gold ornaments. Thanks to the support provided by these SHGs, workers experience relief from daily financial stressors and are better equipped to address workplace challenges.
