International Women’s Day was observed in Chokkasandra, and approximately 100 women garment workers attended. Mrs Monoranjini and Mrs Geetha, both advocates, along with Mr Muniswamappa, founder of Mahimappa Educational School and a committed social worker, honoured the event as chief guests. During their speeches, the distinguished guests shed light on the history of Women’s Day and underscored the importance of women’s rights.
