Munnade Social Organisation hosted a felicitation program to honour five retired women garment workers as part of the International Women’s Day celebration. The program was followed by a cultural event featuring a performance by the famous music team, BhoomthayiBalaga, for the workers. The event aimed to recognise and commend the women workers who demonstrated resilience against workplace harassment throughout their 40-year tenure. It was an opportunity to inspire and motivate other women garment workers.
