On June 9, 2019, a Hand-Holding Support meeting was convened for 33 Worker Leaders from various factories at the Garment Labour Union office. The purpose of this meeting was to address workers’ concerns within their respective factories, raise awareness about labour rights and laws, and assist workers in claiming their provident fund, gratuity, and ESI benefits in the event of factory dissolution. Mr. Raju, a Field Activist from GLU, led the meeting, engaging with workers and clarifying their queries.
