Kelsa is Munnade’s initiative focused on building strong worker leadership, improving workplace conditions, and advocating for systemic change in the garment industry. It equips women garment workers with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to speak up, lead, and claim their rights at work.
Kelsa conducts sessions on labor rights, social security, minimum wages, and grievance redressal mechanisms. Workers learn how to navigate workplace policies and assert their rights confidently.
Munnade supports garment workers in accessing their rightful social security and statutory benefits, including Gratuity, Bonus, PF, and ESI. Through legal assistance, we guide them in filing claims, understanding eligibility, and ensuring timely payments.
Kelsa fosters solidarity and collective strength by organizing public meetings, involving workers in planning, and creating platforms to voice workplace issues. These forums encourage collaboration and shared advocacy.
Kelsa supports worker leaders in submitting formal appeals and demands to government departments and stakeholders for policy-level reforms and better industry practices.
The program guides workers through the process of accessing statutory entitlements like PF, ESI, gratuity, and bonuses—ensuring timely and fair compensation.
