Munnade Social Organisation, FEDINA, and Spoorthidham hosted an event on Magadi Road. Around 300 women workers attended.
The program began at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue with an aspirational song that remembered his vision and the struggles he led for justice and equality.
Guest speakers B.V. Suma and Ashwini spoke about the meaning of Women’s Day, laws against sexual violence, and the importance of women growing socially, economically, and politically.
