When the Prime Minister announced a nationwide lockdown, the State Government of Karnataka implemented the Dasoha scheme to provide food for migrant workers who were stranded during the lockdown. The Labour Department divided the entire city into 198 wards, and Munnade volunteers took charge of three wards: Deepanjalinagar, Byatarayanapura, and Rajarajeshwarinagar. They provided two meals daily for 35 days during this period. Approximately 1100 migrant workers benefited from this initiative.
